Helping Christians Grow Strong in God's Word and Walk Faithfully with Christ

Do You Know Jesus?

If you’ve never accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, this short audio recording is for you. My desire is to see every Christian flourish in their walk with God. However, it all starts with knowing who our Savior is and why we need saving.

If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ in the past, but you find yourself far from Him, you can absolutely rededicate your life to Him today. There comes a point in every Christian life where many of us realize we have been distant and disobedient to our Father, but through his grace and mercy he meets us with open arms when we come home. Be honest and pour your heart out in prayer about where you are now and repent for backsliding.

Here is a prayer to get you started if you find yourself having trouble with what to say:

It All Starts With Jesus
Lydia Johnson

“ Heavenly Father,

I confess that I have strayed from Your will and wandered from the path You have called me to walk. I grieve the sins I have committed and the ways I have misrepresented Christ through my words, actions, and attitudes.

Lord, I repent of my calloused and hardened heart toward Your commands. Thank You for Your mercy, Your patience, and Your willingness to receive me when I turn back to You. Thank You that through Jesus Christ I am forgiven and restored.

I ask that You ignite a fire within me that burns passionately for You. Give me the desires of Your heart and help me to love as Christ loves. Strengthen me to walk in obedience to Your will and let everything I do bring glory to Your name.

Give me a hunger for Your Word and help me to delight in Your truth. Let Your truth set me free from every bondage, every lie, and every shame that seeks to hold me captive.

Redeem the time I have wasted and use every part of my life for Your purposes. Fill me with boldness, wisdom, and perseverance as I grow into a mature disciple of Jesus Christ.

From this day forward, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You, to walk by faith, and to remain steadfast in my devotion to You.

In Jesus' name,

Amen..”
